1) LENGTH OF RENTAL/FEES
Your seven (7) day rental period begins the day your rental is received by you. All rentals MUST BE postmarked no later than 7 days after receiving your dress. A $10 per day late fee will be assessed for every day the rental is postmarked late. Rentals that are not returned after 1 week (7 days) of the last day of the rental period will be considered a purchase, and the purchase price will be billed to the credit card on file. A credit card must be kept on file at the time of order and the amount of the rental paid in full prior to order processing. Any damages or over excessive wear to the dresses that require fixing or deep cleaning will be paid for by the client and charged to the card on file, with notification of such, prior.
2) DRY CLEANING
Dry cleaning is included in the cost of the rental. Fees will not be assessed for cleaning unless the dress is returned with stain damages deemed to be severe by the cleaners. Payment will be taken from the card on file.
3) SHIPPING BACK TO US
Your rental must be postmarked by the last day of the rental date, which is seven (7) days from receiving it. A shipping slip will be sent to the email address provided within the time of your rental contract. If tracking and/or insurance are not purchased and the rental gets lost in the mail, you may be charged for the value of the rental which will not exceed the full purchase price.
4) LATE FEES
Failing to have the rental(and/or) additional items included in the rental) postmarked by the correct date will result in a late charge of $10 per day, which will be charged to the person signing the rental agreement, up to but not exceeding the value of the purchase price of the rental for 14 days after the rental was due. Delinquent rentals over 14 days will be assessed the full purchase price. The purchase price will be charged to the card on file. Notification will be given prior to charge and your card will be removed from our files after completion of your contract and inspection.
Minor alterations on rental gowns are allowed with prior notification and permission by Applique Design. Alterations include the following only,
1)non permanent sewing of bottom hem (length), 2)non permanent fitting of bodice, waist, and hips 3)non per permanent fitting of sleeves. All alterations are the responsibility of the client and must be undone before the rental is shipped back to us. You assume all financial responsibility for rentals altered (and/or damaged) by any other entity. Fees may be assessed due to alteration damages and will be charged to the credit card on file.
6) SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of $100 USD is due, along with full payment of the rental, and must be finalized before your order can be processed. This deposit is for the noted items above in this contract.
8) CANCELLATION OF RENTAL RESERVATION
All of our dresses are made to order, even our rentals. Please see our Return and Refund Policy for details on cancellations and more.
9) RENTAL OWNERSHIP
Applique Design retains ownership of all rentals until such time that the ownership is transferred through a bill of sale in which both the seller and the buyer will retain a copy for their records.
10) FULL DISCLOSURE
The individual acknowledges that this Bridal Dress Rental Agreement hereby states that all questions about this Rental Agreement have been answered, that they fully understand all the provisions of the agreement and the obligations and responsibilities of each party, as spelled out herein. They further state that they agree to fulfill their obligation in every respect or suffer the full legal and financial consequences of their actions or lack of action in violation of this agreement. By moving forward with your payment for a dress rental, the individual agrees to these terms and conditions. This contract is finalized with the user’s payment.
